Brick Specifications

Engraved bricks will be a 4” x 12” paver and will allow for 3 lines of engraving-24 characters each, including spaces. Please note you will not physically receive a brick; all purchased bricks will be included in the construction of the plaza. The deadline to purchase bricks for the third installation is April 30, 2024.

Engraving Information

Suggested engravings for donors and NPHC members can include their name, intake class/line name, organization name, chapter name and crossing date. An example is found below. Please note that organization and chapter names can be written in the Greek-letter font. After your purchase is made, an engraving form will be emailed to the address provided and must be returned to nphcplaza@osu.edu.

You will be contacted by the NPHC Plaza design team (nphcplaza@osu.edu) after your donation is confirmed to secure your engraving information on the Project Excellence Brick Form. All engravings will be proofread and approved by the NPHC Plaza design team. Please know you will be contacted at the email address provided for final approval, and if you make a gift of $25,000 or more, or purchase more than one brick, a team member will email you to confirm the engravings on all bricks purchased.

How do I make a contribution? Gifts can be made by pressing one of the red buttons with a designated dollar amount. Please make sure your mailing address matches the billing address for your credit/debit card.

Can I mail in a donation? Yes, please send checks to this address: The Ohio State University Foundation PO Box 710811 Columbus, OH 43271-0811 made payable to The Ohio State University. In the memo field, write Buckeye Funder and the name of the project you are supporting.

Is my gift tax deductible? Yes, and you will receive a receipt for your gift sent to the email address you provide.

Will my gift count towards Alumni Association Membership, President’s Club and other Ohio State donor recognition programs?
Yes. Your gift through Buckeye Funder will be applied to your giving at Ohio State and our recognition programs. Learn more about Alumni Association Membership and President’s Club.

When will my credit card be charged? Your credit card will be charged immediately upon finalizing your gift on the site.

Are international donations accepted? Yes, The Ohio State University Foundation accepts international gifts via credit card or check.

What is the institution’s Employer Identification Number (EIN), also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number? The Ohio State University Foundation’s Tax ID Number is 31-1145986.
