The NPHC Plaza has been brought to life and it would not have been possible without the support of alumni, donors and friends! There is still the chance to engage, empower, inspire and support this project, as well as the National Pan-Hellenic Council by purchasing your commemorative brick below! The third installation of engraved bricks will occur later in 2024. The deadline to purchase bricks for the third installation is April 30, 2024.
If you purchased a brick before April 30, 2023 your brick will be installed in the summer of 2023.
Brick Sale and Giving Level Information
Purchase a Brick
Community members are encouraged to purchase a brick and leave a permanent legacy at the NPHC Plaza walkway for $500 or more. Bricks are included in all Giving Levels found on this page. Please note you will not physically receive a brick; all purchased bricks will be included in the construction of the plaza.
Brick Specifications
Engraved bricks will be a 4” x 12” paver and will allow for 3 lines of engraving-24 characters each, including spaces. Please note you will not physically receive a brick; all purchased bricks will be included in the construction of the plaza. The deadline to purchase bricks for the third installation is April 30, 2024.
Engraving Information
Suggested engravings for donors and NPHC members can include their name, intake class/line name, organization name, chapter name and crossing date. An example is found below. Please note that organization and chapter names can be written in the Greek-letter font. After your purchase is made, an engraving form will be emailed to the address provided and must be returned to nphcplaza@osu.edu.
You will be contacted by the NPHC Plaza design team (nphcplaza@osu.edu) after your donation is confirmed to secure your engraving information on the Project Excellence Brick Form. All engravings will be proofread and approved by the NPHC Plaza design team. Please know you will be contacted at the email address provided for final approval, and if you make a gift of $25,000 or more, or purchase more than one brick, a team member will email you to confirm the engravings on all bricks purchased.

What if I don't want a brick but still want to donate?
We are so thankful for your support! Please make your gift here to Project Excellence. You must use the giving levels on this Buckeye Funder page to receive all commemorative items, including engraved bricks, and be sure to visit our site for updates on plaza construction and celebration events.
What will the brick proceeds be used for?
Proceeds will go towards the NPHC undergraduate endowment and current use fund for Plaza maintenance and upkeep.
Can I purchase more than 1 brick?
Yes. Multiple bricks may be purchased; however, each purchase must be made separately.
Where is the NPHC Plaza located?
The NPHC Plaza is located behind Hale Hall on the South Oval. Features include an engraved brick walkway, organization monuments, interpretative signage and terrace seating.
Will I be able to select the location my brick will be placed?
No. The NPHC Plaza celebrates the unity of our community and promotes the member experience together. We will not be providing the opportunity to select the location of bricks.
Where are the bricks be located on the Plaza?
Engraved bricks are found on the outer ring of the plaza near the nine organization monuments.
How will I receive the other items found in each of the Giving Levels?
Donation certificates, sweatshirts and commemorative posters will be shipped to the address you provide on the donation checkout page. Be sure all information is accurate.
Can I purchase a brick and have it shipped to me?
No. All purchased bricks will be included in the construction of the plaza.
Do I need to be a member of an NPHC organization to purchase a brick?
No. Friends and supporters of NPHC will have the opportunity to purchase bricks using this Buckeye Funder page.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. A portion of your gift will be tax deductible and your receipt will provide this information.

Make a gift of $999 to have your brick included in the plaza and receive a donation certificate.
Make a gift of $1,930 to have your brick included in the plaza and receive a donation certificate and commemorative sweatshirt.
Make a gift of $5,000 to have your brick included in the plaza and receive a donation certificate, commemorative sweatshirt and poster.
Make a gift of $10,000 to have your brick included in the plaza and receive a donation certificate, commemorative sweatshirt and poster. Your name and affiliation will also be featured on a plaque in the Ohio Union.
Make a gift of $25,000 to have 2 bricks included in the plaza and receive a donation certificate, commemorative sweatshirt and framed poster. An NPHC Plaza team member will email you to confirm the engravings on both bricks. Your name and affiliation will also be featured on a plaque in the Ohio Union as well as in the Sorority and Fraternity Life student leadership suite.
