Help Moms2B grow! 2018

Although our giving page is no longer active, you can still donate. If you would like to provide any additional support to our project, please do so here

Our Purpose:

Targeting Central Ohio zip codes with the highest infant mortality rates, Moms2B provides weekly education and support sessions to pregnant women to promote healthier lifestyle choices and link them with social support resources.  Dads2B is a growing partner program that hopes to give the same support and education to the many Dads who attend our weekly Moms2B sessions!

Our Goal:

The goal of Dads2B is to provide a weekly support group for Dads to attend while Moms are attending Moms2B.  Our goal is to provide incentives for our Dads, like Kroger gift cards, Daddy Diaper Bags, and wagons to encourage program participation, as well as ensure that Dads are receiving the education and support necessary to provide the best possible care to our Moms2B babies.

Our Approach:

David Fluellen, Founder and CEO of Turnkey Development Institute, leads the Dads2B program and provides Dads with education, support, and resources.  David holds Dads2B sessions during the Moms2B sessions and teaches on topics such as relationship skills, parenting styles, co-parenting, and priceless guidance in the journey of fatherhood.

We hope to raise $20,000 to help this much needed program to continue to grow and gain more participants in the near future.  We will use the funds to purchase participation incentives and educational resources to supplement the lessons. We thank you in advance for your time and support with our project!

Kroger Gift Cards

For every Dads2B session that a Dad attends, he will receive a $5 Kroger gift card!

Healthy People 2020

Healthy People 2020, the national set of objectives to improve the health of Americans, set a goal of lowering the Infant Mortality Rate to 6.0 deaths per 1,000 live births.

Parenting Partnership

Dads make up 50% of the partnership that it takes to raise a child. Both Dads and Moms need our support to help lower the Infant Mortality Rate in Ohio!

Program Incentives

Average combined cost of a wagon and Daddy Diaper bag that we hope to give our Dads as program attendance incentives.

New Moms

In 2016, Moms2B welcomed 353 new moms to the Moms2B program. We hope to one day welcome this many Dads to our Dads2B program in a year...with your help!
