We did it!

July 10, 2019

As the week is ending and we deliver our last notes to our veterinarians, we want to take a second to say thank you and share a short video of one of our clinicians expressing what it means to them to receive a note from one of her clients.

To all of the donors who were kind enough to contribute to the Thank Your Veterinarian Day campaign by making a gift and writing a note of thanks to our Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center Veterinarians: Thank You for your support. Because of all of you, we were able to meet and pass our goal of one gift to represent every practicing clinician at the VMC. It takes a special person to care for and help heal all pets, and at the VMC, we know we have some of the best.

If you weren't able to participate in 2019's Thank Your Veterinarian Day but would like to support your veterinarian and help us train the veterinarians of tomorrow, you can make your gift here.

Today is Thank Your Veterinarian Day!

June 26, 2019

We spent the morning passing out thank you notes to our veterinarians to celebrate Thank Your Veterinarian Day and they were a huge hit! Thank you to those of you who contributed so far and wrote a note!

We are still counting gifts to hit our goal of 139 gifts to represent our clinicians at the VMC! With 124 gifts so far, we are 15 gifts away from our goal!! We're so close!!

Haven't made your gift and written your note of thanks yet? You still have time! We will be counting gifts and delivering them to veterinarians for a little while longer so make your gift now!

Wrapping up week one!

June 10, 2019

Wow! We have been tracking gifts for one week and we are already at 30% of our goal! Gifts have come in from clients all over the VMC thanking their veterinarians for the care they’ve shown to animals in need. Thank you to those who have contributed so far.

There is still time to make your gift and write a note of appreciation to thank your veterinarian and help us continue to spread the word and share our project on your social media channels and with your loved ones.

Make a gift today to help us reach our goal of 139 gifts to honor each practicing clinician at the VMC!

5 Locations; One System

There are 5 locations that make up Ohio State's Veterinary Health System. The Hospital for Companion Animals, Hospital for Farm Animals, the Gallbreath Equine Center, the VMC location at Dublin, and the Large Animal Service space in Marysville. Give $5 for each location.

$50

Hospital for Companion Animals

Did you know that the hospital for companion animals sees more than 18,500 pets each year? This makes it one of the largest animal hospitals around, while still maintaining a commitment to making the world healthier for animals and their families.

$75

Hospital for Farm Animals

Looking for somewhere to service your farm animals? The Hospital for Farm Animals is specifically equipped to handle medical services in general medicine, neonatal service, surgery, and reproduction, all in one space!

$100

Gallbreath Equine Center

Have a show horse, pleasure horse or pasture pet who needs some veterinary care? The team at our Gallbreath Equine Center will come to you for on-farm care!

$250

VMC Dublin

At the Dublin location, we have board-certified veterinarians prepared 24 hours a day to help your pets when an emergency strikes. Our vets are trained in emergency and intensive care services, surgery, and overnight monitoring and nursing care.

$500

Marysville Center

As one of the six Big Ten Universities with a college of veterinary medicine, the VMC clinic in Marysville is unique in that all Ohio State Veterinary Medicine students are required to complete a rotation there, giving them valuable exposure to an often overlooked area of animal care. The specialists in this clinic work hard to serve and educate clients, with spaces for both large animal care and educational seminars.
