BMEC 5K and Lunch Social

Join us for an afternoon of exercise and food in celebration for the new addition to our campus! Sponsored by the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Students Association (BMEGSA), we hope to bring more awareness and excitement for the Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex (BMEC), which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2020.

This new cutting-edge, five-floor facility will house the growing Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering departments thanks to investments from the State of Ohio and The Ohio State University, and from philanthropic support from our loyal network of alumni, corporate and industry partners, and friends of the college and Buckeye nation.

In preparation for this grand opening, BMEGSA is sponsoring and organizing these three events on September 15th, 2019:

1. Fall Lunch Social (12:30 PM – 2:30 PM): exciting social and networking opportunity for students, faculty, and alumni to mingle while enjoying catered lunch!
2. 5K Neon Color Run (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM): partake in a colorful, energizing 5K event through central campus! Custom event t-shirts will be provided for runners to decorate before the event. Snacks and refreshments will also be available.
3. BMEC Hard Hat Tour (12:30 PM – 3:00 PM): 30 minute tours of the new BMEC facility available to anyone who has registered for at least one of the above events. Space is limited and tours will be provided on a first come, first served basis!
