Hello everyone! My name is Jaja Liang, and I am a fourth-year student specializing in International Business and Marketing at the Fisher College of Business. I had the honor to be one of the Edward S. "Beanie" Drake Student Leader Endowment Fund recipients for the academic year of 2019-2020.
With this funding, I have the opportunity to allocate more time to develop my personal and professional growth, to give back to OSU, and to help my peers as well as the future generations succeed. I want to offer meaningful insights to students on navigating college. The current platforms that allow me to narrate my experiences are Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority Inc., Scarlet and Gray Financial (SGF) Coaching, and University Exploration. I hope to leave a legacy that even after I leave, will continue to shape or influence the future generations to come.
I am extremely thankful for this scholarship opportunity. This scholarship will support me in creating opportunities and achieving goals that I otherwise would not have the chance to. It will help me as well as my family in my academic, personal and professional endeavors. This fund will permit me to participate in extra-curricular activities that will enrich my college career, motivate me to grow into the best version of myself, and provide me a gateway to gain knowledge that would make me a competitive and competent candidate in the workforce.
This opportunity would not be possible was it not for the continuous support of our generous donors and organizations. Thank you for having faith in our students and believing in our potential to become ambitious and empathetic leaders in our communities!
