The mission of the Student Philanthropy Department is to grow a culture of philanthropy at Ohio State by building understanding of philanthropy as giving of time, talent, and treasure. We strive to instill gratitude for the experiences that Ohio State provides and to connect students with opportunities to support the causes that they care most about.
At The Ohio State University, students, faculty, staff, and friends are doing extraordinary work every day. From feeding the hungry to supporting fellow students to curing disease, Buckeyes are always finding new ways to give back to the communities they care about.
We want to help our students continue this important work by providing grants to support student-led, philanthropic efforts on campus. Students will have the chance to present their ideas for philanthropic initiatives in the Ohio State and Columbus community, and we hope to be able to fund as many of those projects as possible.
