Part of providing compassionate care is doing what we can to bring comfort and closure to our clients at times of loss. A memorial gift to Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine Pet Memorial Program provides the opportunity to honor a client's beloved pet or companion, completing the cycle of care and strengthening the relationship between veterinarian and pet owner. Your gift will help improve the quality of life for animals through education, medical care, research and community outreach.
After your tax-deductible contribution (we recommend $10 per pet), we send a personalized sympathy card to your client honoring the memory of their pet and acknowledging your gift to the college in their honor.
You may choose to support priority areas at Ohio State's Veterinary Medical Center (VMC), including:
The Veterinary Medical Center Fund, supporting areas of greatest need at the VMC
Oncology Support Fund, supporting the Oncology Service at the VMC
The Good Samaritan Care Fund, providing veterinary care for animals in need lacking financial support
Excellence in Pet Care Fund, an endowment supporting the future of our VMC
You also have the opportunity to direct your gift to an area of your choice.
