4-H Camp Graham

$9,650 from 86 donors

Thank you!!

July 02, 2020

On behalf of 4-H Camp Graham and the thousands of young lives that have been transformed by camp, we wish to thank you for your support of our BuckeyeFunder Campaign!

This special campaign allowed us to generate more than $8,000 to help continue to keep our camp viable and continue our mission for future generations of campers. While our public campaign to raise funds has come to an end, please know that the need is still real. The BuckeyeFunder platform will continue to be available for donations through the end of August if you or someone you know feels compelled to pay it forward to future generations of campers.

The Camp Graham staff, board members and educators are very thankful for your support and contributions. With the funds, the camp will be able to open its doors in 2021 to benefit the next generation of campers.

Camp Graham holds a special place in the hearts of many and we will be forever grateful for your help to keep it going.

Camp Traditions

June 02, 2020

We are half way through our fundraising campaign!  We greatly appreciate everyone’s support of 4-H Camp Graham! This campaign is an opportunity for 4-H members, their families, alumni, and supporters to share their love of camp experiences and invest in the immediate future of camp. Together, we have raised $4,625 for the Camp Graham operating fund; bringing us to 23% of our goal!

The closing of summer camps this year affects more than just the camp facility.  It's a lost experience for campers to learn responsibility, decision making and teamwork.  It's also counselors missing out on traditions that they only experience in their last year.  For example, last year camp counselors for Clermont/Hamilton County 4-H Camp receive a little glass bottle of ashes from their last campfire which is presented at a Senior Recognition Ceremony held just before the closing ceremony.

There are many other camp traditions that are held sacred such as:

  • Ice Cream Socials
  • Cabin Door Decorating
  • Warm Fuzzies
  • Tie Dyed Everything
  • Singing...lots of singing - What's your favorite camp song?
  • Campfire Cooking
  • Camp Group Photo
  • Flag Raising and Lowering
  • Cleanest Cabin Awards
  • Vespers / Inspiration
  • Campfire Skits
  • Candle Lighting
  • Camp Dance

What are your favorite camp traditions? Help us start a new tradition of donating to Camp Graham in honor of a special counselor or camper.  Just select the "In Honor of" button and leave them a message.  Share the link to our campaign and encourage your friends to donate.  Investing in camp today will help future generations of 4-H campers to participate in what may be your favorite camp tradition.
