Harvest of Hope 2020
Over the last few months, the Harvest of Hope committee has worked hard to understand the impact of the health risks posed by COVID-19. In coordination with The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James), we have sadly decided not to hold this year’s Harvest of Hope gala.
You were an integral part of the success of last year’s Harvest of Hope gala, which raised more than $500,000 for the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO), a comprehensive lab bench-to-bedside research initiative focused on harnessing the immune system to fight cancer.
While much has been done to establish the PIIO, the work has only just begun. We need your support to continue to lay the groundwork for future discovery, which includes ambitious plans to open up to 130 immuno-oncology clinical trials over the next five years and create a strong pipeline of new cancer immunotherapeutics, many of them driven by Ohio State discoveries that will be tested at patient bedsides.
