$10,540 raised toward my $10,000 goal

In Memory of Holly Eve Clancy

Although my giving page is no longer active, you can still donate. If you would like to provide any additional support, please make a gift here.

I've created this page in remembrance of my sister, Holly Eve Clancy. She died of small-cell lung cancer. Upon her death, she donated her tissues to Precision Cancer Medicine in Medical Oncology at Ohio State. The money you donate to Holly's Fund fights cancer through the Precision Cancer research of the Sameek Roychowdhury, MD, PhD Team.

"Precision medicine is an approach to patient care that allows doctors to select treatments that are most likely to help patients based on a genetic understanding of their disease." (National Cancer Institute online)

Instead of treating cancer according to its location, in the brain for example, cancer would be treated on the genetic and molecular level.

Genetic changes are detected with a DNA Sequencing or Molecular Profiling of a person's biopsy.

Please join me by making your gift today. The more people who know about this fundraising page, the greater the impact, so please also share my page with your friends and family.

After exceeding the original goal of $5,000, we decided to continue our efforts to support the research and treatment of cancer patients with a new goal of $10,000.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
