It is likely that each of us has met or loved a breast cancer survivor or hero. They may have been a friend, a relative, a coworker, a neighbor or someone we met while standing in line waiting for coffee. You may have cheered them on during treatment, supported them after treatment or comforted a love one when their battle was over. I have met these heroes, some are best friends, some are family, all are people I love and cherish. The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute are working tirelessly to transform the way breast cancer is prevented, detected and treated. Stefanie lost her battle with breast cancer in 2009 but her legacy continues with the Spielman Fund. Your entire donation goes to breast cancer research, and every dollar you give provides hope to those fighting the disease.
Smiling Frog Yoga is my little yoga business but I want to accomplish BIG things - I want to help others find the beauty in yoga and better health. I want to help organizations like the Spielman Fund continue to help find a cure for cancer. A big "Thank You" to The Twisted Vine Family Vineyard for allowing me to share yoga and this fundraiser with their patrons.
