Student-Alumni Council is a passionate, diverse group of student leaders striving to advance The Ohio State University through programs that enhance the student experience, promote student-alumni interaction, establish a spirit of loyalty to the university, and cultivate meaningful relationships. We aim to connect Buckeyes past, present and future so that everyone can be a Buckeye for life.

We held our first meeting in 1980 when 60 students gathered under a unifying focus to better The Ohio State University through student-alumni involvement. SAC has since grown to an organization of approximately 115 active and exemplary members, or "SACers," who work to advance the university.

As you know, COVID-19 brought about changes in almost every area of our lives. SAC was unable to escape this inevitable change, we adapted to our surroundings and modified our exciting programs and events to be COVID-friendly. As a result, almost every program we ran this year utilized a virtual format while a few programs unfortunately were not able to be put on at all.

Two of our main fundraising and donation programs are alumni tours and football ticket giveaways. These programs serve as SAC's main source of donations and allow us to have the necessary resources to bring our amazing programs and events to the OSU campus. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to offer in-person tours for the 2020-2021 academic year or support our FTG program. In lieu of in-person tours, we created a virtual tour video that offers alumni a closer look at the campus; you can find this video linked above. All donations that we receive will go directly towards planning and executing events that focus on enriching the student experience and connecting students with alumni.
