Sonya was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in May 2018. We have created this page as a way to honor her memory and keep her spirit going. She received stellar care at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) and she was forever grateful. We know that she wanted to give back. She wanted nothing more than to contribute to helping find a cure so that others would benefit from her journey.
Her strong love for her beautiful children, her fierceness and humor kept her going, even through her darkest of days. Our feisty, outgoing, belly laughing Sonya left this world way too soon. Thank you for honoring dearest Sonya in the best of ways.
