The Fundamentals of Engineering - Honors (FEH) Program is an optional course sequence that is offered to University Honors-designated engineering students. This accelerated program is designed to challenge students and provide them with a foundation in engineering principles that are necessary for success throughout their academic careers. For thousands of Buckeyes, the lessons learned and connections made in the FEH program continue to impact their lives and careers even years after graduating.
For the past two decades the FEH program has been driven by a pair of extremely dedicated educators, Dr. John Demel and Dr. Rick Freuler. Upon Dr. Freuler’s announcement of his retirement, the FEH family of professors, current and past TAs, began to reach out with a plan to celebrate the legacies of both Rick and John.
The Rick Freuler and John Demel FEH Design Fund will help support the design project that has become the hallmark of the FEH program from its inception. We have the opportunity to ensure funding for years to come through the creation of an endowed fund, guaranteeing that future students continue to benefit from the legacies of Drs. Freuler and Demel in perpetuity.
Help the FEH family celebrate Dr. Freuler’s retirement by supporting our efforts through a gift, and by spreading the word to fellow Buckeyes and friends!
With Kind Regards,
The FEH Family
