Life is short and it's time to celebrate – it’s been 14 years since my breast cancer diagnosis!! Unfortunately over that same time, several friends and my sister also endured surgeries and treatment after hearing the words “you have breast cancer.” Great advances are being made every day in breast cancer treatment and I'm committed more than ever to raising money to fight this disease.
I’d love for you to attend my 14th annual "Life's Short, Eat Dessert First" fundraising event on Sunday, October 17.

The beneficiary of my event again this year is the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.
Why? Because the Stefanie Spielman Fund is devoted to advancing research in breast cancer and 100% of donations tied to this event goes directly to research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).
Join me for your mom, your sister, your daughter, your friend, your neighbor and for you by attending and/or making a donation towards my 2021 Life's Short, Eat Dessert First event.
I am beyond thrilled to share that the 2020 donation was an incredible $22,086! The highest yet - bringing the total over the first 13 years to more than $101,000! Not only was it the highest amount yet, this all happened during a time when everything was virtual. Thank you to everyone who contributed to last year's success!
I am honored to announce my featured speakers this year will be Dr. William Farrar and Dr. Julia White. In addition to being my surgical oncologist, Dr. Farrar is the CEO of the OSUCCC-James and the Medical Director of the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center. He is one of the nation's foremost experts in breast cancer. Dr. White is the head of breast radiation oncology at The James and and one of the leading breast radiation oncologists in the world.
Join me for an afternoon of incredible speakers, delicious homemade desserts, fun times and life-saving information!
