In honor of my 30th birthday in April and with my 5th year anniversary of becoming a Buckeye alumni coming up in May, I wanted to make a Buckeye Funder to give back to the university that did so much for me! As I continue to give my time, talent and treasure back to The Ohio State University, I'm looking to raise money for two causes I am passionate about: (1) scholarships for students from the greater DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area to attend Ohio State; and (2) scholarships for students at the Moritz College of Law.
My Buckeye Journey started in 2014 when I was accepted to attend the Moritz College of Law. The Ohio State University was my top choice because they had an excellent dual degree program between the J.D. at Moritz and the John Glenn College of Public Affairs with their M.A. in Public Policy and Management. When I arrived at Moritz, I immediately felt at home talking to faculty, staff and students.

Over the next three years, I was able to receive an elite legal education, make lifelong connections and enjoy life as a Buckeye. This included attending games in The Shoe, walking across the Oval and networking with the Columbus legal community.

As I transitioned into my career in Washington, D.C., I always wanted to give back to Ohio State. I initially wanted to know where I could watch football with my fellow Buckeyes and found The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Greater Washington, DC. Soon, I was running Game Day events as Game Day Chair and I now serve as the club's Vice President.

I also recently started a term on The Ohio State University Alumni Association Board of Directors, serving over 580,000 Ohio State alumni and giving back to the university who took a chance on me. I am so proud to be a Buckeye for Life, and I would greatly appreciate you helping me celebrate my 30th birthday by making a gift to the Spearman Scholarship Fund and the Moritz College of Law!
