Cold weather will be here before we know it and the burn team from the Ohio State University Comprehensive Burn Center are coming together to raise funds to help prevent frostbite with our patients. Far too often, a patient will arrive to us in the hospital or in clinic with a frostbite injury and inadequate clothing to protect them from re-injury. We want to be able to purchase shoes, socks, liners, gloves and hand warmers for patients in need so they are better equipped to face the elements of cold weather.

Please share with your friends and family on social media because I know our reach is far as a team and together we can raise money to help our patients on a very personal individual level. We can get a good jump on the cold weather by reaching out now in preparation for these patients we see and be ready to help them even outside of our treatment in the clinical setting.
