College of Medicine: Class of 1972

$65,085 raised toward our $150,000 goal (43%)

Leaving a Legacy from the Class of 1972

Dear Classmates,

I am excited to be reaching out to you today to share that our class has been invited to leave a legacy at the Ohio State College of Medicine as a way to celebrate our 50 year reunion.

The Ohio State College of Medicine is getting a new home in the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center (IHSC), in a reimagined and expanded Hamilton Hall. This is where the next generation of Buckeye physicians will be trained. The new facilities will allow Ohio State medical students to continue to be some of the best and brightest – by having flexible classroom spaces, areas for students to focus on self-care and mental health and access to modern technology needed to be at the forefront of innovation in medical education. I invite you to learn more about the project here.

Our legacy at The Ohio State College of Medicine will be to name a 15 person classroom in honor of the Class of ‘72. Our goal is to raise $150,000 in support of this project. Will you join us?

Our time at the College of Medicine was the foundation for the rest of our careers. We are excited to pay it forward and hope that you will join with your classmates to support this important project. Imagine walking through the halls, a young 1st year medical student and walking past our named space donated by the Class of 1972. Seeing this reminder of the alumni who have gone before you can provide that courage to keep going. It is important for us as alumni to support the College in their new home, and it is exciting to think that the Class of 1972 will be able to physically leave our mark here for generations of Buckeye Physicians to come.

Sincerely,

Your 1972 Reunion Class Chairs
