Life is short and it's time to celebrate – it’s been 15 years since my breast cancer diagnosis!! Unfortunately over that same time, several friends and my sister also endured surgeries and treatment after hearing the words “you have breast cancer.” Great advances are being made every day in breast cancer treatment and I'm committed more than ever to raising money to fight this disease.
I’d love for you to attend my 15th annual "Life's Short, Eat Dessert First" fundraising event on Sunday, October 16.

The beneficiaries of my event this year are the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research and the William B Farrar Breast Cancer Fund.
Why? Because both the William B Farrar Fund and the Stefanie Spielman Fund are devoted to advancing research in breast cancer and 100% of donations tied to this event go directly to research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).

I am beyond thrilled to share that the 2021 donation was an incredible $27,155! The highest yet by far - bringing the total over the first 14 years to more than $128,000! Thank you to everyone who contributed to last year's success!

I’m thrilled to announce my featured speaker this year is Dr. Ramaswamy. In addition to being my medical oncologist, she is awesome and is a breast cancer survivor herself. She serves as section chief of Breast Medical Oncology at The James and as director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship Program for The Ohio State College of Medicine. She has been recognized by Forbes as one of the top 27 Breast Cancer Oncologists in the nation!
Join me for an afternoon of incredible speakers, delicious homemade desserts, fun times and life-saving information!
