Professor Emeritus Larry Herman was a beloved member of the Moritz College of Law faculty for over five decades and was revered by his former students. He joined the Ohio State College of Law in 1961 and was an expert in constitutional and criminal law. His passion was teaching, especially through the moot court program, which he directed for thirty-one years (1961-1992). He helped start the successful legal careers of thousands of soon-to-be lawyers. Upon his retirement in December 2014, The Lawrence Herman Fund for Excellence was created to honor Professor Herman’s 53-year career. The fund, befittingly, supports the moot court program, preparing the next generation of lawyers in his memory. Thank you for considering a gift to continue Professor Herman’s legacy.
