Between now and Dec. 31, any gift made to the College of Pharmacy Undergraduate Scholarship Fund will be matched 1:1, up to a total of $50,000.
Thanks to a generous donation by the C.M. Chen Foundation, The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy has $50,000 in matching funds to encourage new scholarship gifts in support of our 500 BSPS students through the Scarlet & Gray Advantage program. Consider making a gift that will have twice the impact on undergraduate students today.
The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) degree program is the first step for undergraduate students entering a variety of health science fields. The program’s innovative coursework emphasizes cutting-edge, integrated science learning; hands-on lab experiences; and career development – preparing students to enter a health care setting or drug discovery and development setting. Many of our BSPS students go on to pharmacy school right here at Ohio State.
Your gift will have twice the impact and will give our undergraduate students two steps forward in their educational and professional journey.
“Coming from a small town, it’s not guaranteed that everyone can go to college – neither of my parents had the opportunity. I am so grateful for my scholarship – it has completely changed my life. It has really reassured me that I am doing something right, I am making my parents proud and that I can be the pharmacist that I dream of being. I am forever grateful for this incredible opportunity.”
— Kaitlyn Carson, BSPS Class of 2023
“I am so thankful for my scholarship because my mom is working two jobs, my dad is working very long hours and I’ve been working while in school. It’s just very difficult to pay for my schooling and my siblings schooling, and it’s really encouraging to know that there are people out there who want me to succeed.”
— Bintou Fofana, BSPS Graduate Class of 2021, PharmD Candidate Class of 2025
Your gift helps to support the future of health care. Please consider contributing to undergraduate scholarships today and impacting the lives and educational journeys of students like Kaitlyn and Bintou!
