In September 2022, Ohio State planetarium will be opening its doors again to the public and we are excited to share a brand new, never before seen planetarium show that we at Ohio State have been working to produce for many years. The new show is about a Catholic priest and astrophysicist named Georges Lemaitre and the scientific work he and Edwin Hubble did to convince Albert Einstein that the universe is expanding. Lemaitre's ideas also helped lay the groundwork for what we now call Big Bang theory. Until now there has never been a planetarium show about Lemaitre's contributions to this very important moment in the history of science. We hope you come visit Ohio State planetarium to see the new show!
