In celebration of Nurses Week, we honor Bernadette (Bern) Mazurek Melnyk and her transformational 12-year tenure as dean of The Ohio State University College of Nursing.
The impact of Dean Melnyk’s passion for building resiliency, improving mental health and nurturing the development of evidence-based, wellness-focused clinicians is far-reaching. In this spirit, the College of Nursing introduces the Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk Mental Health Fund for Adolescents and Young Adults to support College of Nursing students in their work to improve mental health outcomes through innovative intervention research or evidence-based quality improvement projects.
