Terri was strong, brave and resilient. She battled cancer with determination, even though the road was difficult and painful. She had a very rare form of GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumors) that left her without many options for treatment. Her wish was to have others donate to The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) sarcoma center in her memory to help further research and treatments for patients in positions like hers.
Terri lost her battle with GIST on April 5, 2023 - just over 5 years after her diagnosis. She gave glory to God for the fact that she survived those 5 years, but she also had a great appreciation for the wisdom and expertise of Dr. Tinoco and his team at the sarcoma center. They treated her with such care and compassion, and we cannot say enough positive words about him and his team.
Please join us in honoring Terri’s life and legacy by supporting cancer research.
