Welcome to the Buckeye Funder page for the Buckeye Lacrosse international trip! We are thrilled to have this incredible opportunity to represent our university on the international level. This project aims to raise funds to support our journey and ensure that we can make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

In 2019, our team was fortunate enough to take a trip abroad to Portugal. Taking our players, staff and support staff on an international trip was a life changing experience and created memories that are brought up on a weekly basis. When we set out to do an international trip, we always did so with the intention of making this a four-year tradition, so that every Buckeye who graduates from the program will have gotten the experience to travel with their brothers internationally. Summer 2023 is our 4-year mark, and with travel costs rising, we are actively looking for donors to help us fund this once in a lifetime experience for our men.

August 13th, 2023, Buckeye Lacrosse will be departing for Italy! This will be a tremendous culture-building trip for our men and allow us the chance to participate in the international game of Sixes. It will also be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many of our men as this will be their first time leaving the United States. We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received for this trip. To have our entire team and support staff get the chance to visit another country, and spend quality time together, fostering deep team bonds prior to school beginning is so valuable. Not only will this trip serve as a valuable learning experience and team bonding, but it also helps grow the sport of lacrosse on an international level.

Your generous donations will contribute to various aspects of the trip, allowing us to cover essential expenses. 

• Travel Expenses: As we journey from Ohio to Italy, the cost of flights, transportation and other accommodations can quickly add up. Your generous donations will help ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience. 
• Cultural Enrichment: Alongside the Game of Sixes, the team will have the opportunity to explore the rich history and vibrant culture of Italy. We believe that cultural experiences are invaluable in shaping well-rounded men, and your contribution will enable our student-athletes to immerse themselves in Italian art, cuisine and landmarks.
• Team Building: This international trip will provide an excellent platform for team bonding, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among players. Your donation will help organize team-building activities and experiences that will further strengthen the Buckeye Lacrosse team, both on and off the field.
