The next generation of Buckeyes need your help to reach their academic dreams! For over three decades, the NYC Alumni Club has provided scholarship assistance to students from the local area attending the university. These scholarships were made possible through the generosity of countless alumni and friends of the club pledging their support year after year.
While undeniably impactful, this funding model presented numerous challenges as it required the club’s scholarship account to be replenished annually in order to issue awards to the next cohort of students and available funds often fluctuated dramatically.
To remedy this situation, the club is currently striving to create a permanent scholarship endowment fund and we are seeking your support. A scholarship endowment fund presents numerous advantages and ensures that the impact of your gift today will be felt in perpetuity.
Once we reach the $100,000 threshold, the university will invest the collected funds on our behalf and the earned interest will be used to award annual scholarships. Meanwhile, the principal balance of the account will remain untouched thereby ensuring a stable and predictable source of income for generations to come.
