This is the first fundraising campaign of the Alumni Club of Brazil! Let's make a difference for Brazilians interested in Ohio State and its short-term programs. The goal is to raise USD 2,000 until the end of March to create a fund that will help cover opportunities such as international application fees (USD 70) and registrations for the STEM Summer Program for high schoolers (USD 165), for The Ohio Program - Internships in Agriculture (USD 575) and for the Foundations of U.S. Law and Practice at the Moritz College of Law (USD 1,000).

Any extra money raised will remain in the fund and go to one of the above short-term opportunities.

The Alumni Club of Brazil was established in 2020 and has led more than 14 initiatives from game watch parties to cultural and business-related webinars. The club has almost 50 members and 90 participants in its WhatsApp group.

The Ohio State Brazil Gateway will support the club's initiative by keeping the funds in its Ohio State U.S. based account. Once the fund is established, the Brazil Gateway will promote the fund's existence with Brazilian high schools, universities and other institutions involved in international education. Deadlines for applications will be set and before applying for the scholarships above, Brazilian candidates will have to be admitted to the selected Ohio State program. Upon confirmation of acceptance, the scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the program at Ohio State. The club hopes to distribute the funds until the end of 2024. Any remaining amounts will be rolled over to the next year.

Giving levels listed on this page are only examples. You can give any amount you wish starting at USD 5.

The club is excited to start this project and we are counting on your support to help us create new Buckeyes and change lives.

Thank you!
