Celebrate a life well lived by making a gift to the T-Cell Lymphoma Research Fund at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).
Lily passed away peacefully on January 17 at The James Cancer Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and compassionate caregivers. She was 85-years-young, and she was a fighter. Lily enjoyed life. She was an avid golfer and very competitive in her day. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she was a wonderful friend to many.
According to the American Cancer Society, the overall 5-year survival rate for people with peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma is 32%. Combined with Lily's strong will and her physicians at the OSUCCC – James whom she adored, she was able to beat the odds and live with this cancer for 7 years. Your donation to the T-Cell Lymphoma Research Fund can hopefully help other patients defy the odds like she did.
