Tribute Relay for Heroes – Honoring and Supporting Our Veterans

Join us on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Clyde High School’s Robert J. Bishop Jr. Stadium for the Tribute Relay for Heroes—a powerful event dedicated to honoring and supporting our veterans. From 7 AM to 5 PM, the United States flag will be continuously relayed around the track, symbolizing unwavering support for those who have served. We invite all attendees are welcome to carry the flag and be part of this meaningful tribute.

The 10-hour relay will conclude with a benefit raffle at Clyde VFW Post 3343, featuring raffles and fundraisers in support of the Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative for Veterans (STRIVE).

All online donations, through the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and physical donations collected at the VFW event, go directly to STRIVE—The Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative for Veterans.

The Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative for Veterans (STRIVE) is the only research institute in the U.S. solely dedicated to developing, refining, and implementing treatments for suicide, trauma, and gun-related violence risk reduction among veterans.

STRIVE provides state-of-the-art psychological care for all veterans, regardless of era or discharge status, who experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to military or non-military traumatic events.
