Event Details
When our community comes together to address issues, amazing things can happen! With the support of friends like you, Cultivating a Cure has raised over $1.16 million in the past 13 years to support cancer treatment and prevention research at The Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University.
The 14th annual Cultivating a Cure event will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Hirsch Fruit Farm in Chillicothe, Ohio. The networking reception will begin at 11 a.m. and the lunch and program will start at 12 p.m. We hope you and your family will join us as we continue strengthening our relationships, which are the foundation to addressing issues and challenges facing our industry, such as finding a cure for cancer.
History of Cultivating a Cure
Cultivating a Cure was founded in 2011 by the Porteus family to support their passion for cancer research and prevention while remembering all of those among our families who are and have battled cancer. Cultivating a Cure recognizes the value that is found when members of the agriculture community forge and develop their relationships and come together to address issues and challenges facing our industry such as finding a cure for cancer.
