Our Navy ROTC program was founded in 1945 and has commissioned over 2,000 Navy and Marine Corp officers. This April and May, the NROTC Alumni Society is embarking on a journey to be able to award more scholarships to more midshipmen. This is a unique opportunity, a grassroots fundraising effort, to grow our endowed scholarship fund and you can help.
You have the opportunity to support and sustain current and future Navy ROTC midshipmen in this legacy of selfless service and commitment to our Nation’s ideals. The goal of this scholarship challenge is to raise $25,000.
Your support to our scholarship challenge fundraiser creates a significant, measurable and positive impact for select midshipmen who demonstrate aptitude for service and need for monetary assistance in pursuing their goals as future Navy and Marine Corps leaders. Hear from MIDN 3/c Moukadam first-hand how the NROTC Scholarship Fund impacted her life. Further, your contribution builds deeper and stronger ties with Ohio State and Navy ROTC alumni and increases membership in The Ohio State University Navy ROTC Alumni Society.
Every contribution, regardless of amount, is important in propelling us to achieve our goal. Get involved today, and act on Coach and WWII Navy Veteran LCDR Woody Hayes’ admonition to “pay forward” for the benefit of current and future Navy ROTC Midshipmen and Marine Corp options.
So, hop aboard and support our future Navy and Marine Corps officers today!
