The Buckeyes need your support as we travel to Alton, Illinois to play in the NCBA DII World Series. This double elimination tournament will feature 8 regional winners out of the 126 teams at the DII club level. The Buckeyes are the #1 seed and will play University of Houston-Downtown on Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m. CST. The event will be held at Lloyd Hopkins Field from May 17 through May 21.
We are in need of funding to help cover the week long hotel stay and fuel for the players' commute. Any donation amount will help as we look to cover a $2,500 budget deficit in travel expenses for the 6.5-hour trip just outside of St. Louis.
After a nearly undefeated conference season at 14-1 and 23-3 overall record, the DII team won their 8th consecutive conference title advancing to the New Penn Regional Tournament. After a blowout loss in game 1, the team battled back from the losers bracket winning 4 games over the next two days including two, 1 to 0 wins, as well as beating two, top 5 ranked teams in Cal PA and West Virginia.
The DII squad will make their 2nd straight World Series appearance and 6th overall in program history looking to defend their National Championship from last season!
We sincerely appreciate any amount you can give and your thoughtful generosity to the program.
Thank you and go Buckeyes!
