The Women's Glee Club (WGC) at The Ohio State University has been honored with an exciting opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in May 2025, a testament to our choir's dedication, talent and hard work. As we prepare for this remarkable milestone, we are also focused on the ongoing needs that keep our club thriving year-round. Your generous donation will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations, from providing music and equipment to funding performances and outreach activities. About WGC:
Established in 1903, Women's Glee Club is a vibrant ensemble of 60 talented voices. Representing a diverse array of majors and interests, our singers range from first-year through graduate students, all united by a shared passion for music. We bring joyful, evocative, skillful performances to both on-and off-campus venues, including tailgating events before home football games (Go Bucks!). We connect with our community through performance and service, partnering with local organizations to support arts and civic health in Columbus. Our musical repertoire is wide and varied, with special focus on works by women, non-binary and BIPOC composers.
Fun fact: WGC was the first musical organization to appear in concert at Mershon Auditorium!
