Leaving a Legacy from the Class of 2004

Dear Classmates,

I am so excited to be reaching out to you today to share that our class has been invited to leave a legacy at the Ohio State College of Medicine as a way to celebrate our milestone reunion.

The Ohio State College of Medicine is getting a new home in the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center (IHSC), in a reimagined and expanded Hamilton Hall. This is where the next generation of Buckeye physicians will be trained. The new facilities will allow Ohio State medical students to continue to be some of the best and brightest – by having flexible classroom spaces, areas for students to focus on self-care and mental health, and access to modern technology needed to be at the forefront of innovation in medical education. I invite you to learn more about this project.

Our legacy at the Ohio State College of Medicine will be to name a four-person study space in the new building in honor of the Class of 2004. This room will be used by students at the College of Medicine to come together for projects, research, studying for exams - anything can happen in this space that will continue to build on the tradition of excellence at the College of Medicine. Our goal is to raise $50,000 in support of this project. Will you join us?

Our time here was the foundation for the rest of our careers. I hope that you will join with your classmates to support this important project. Imagine walking through the halls as a 1st year medical student passing the study space donated by the Class of 2004. Seeing this reminder of the alumni that have gone before can provide that courage to keep going. It is important for us as alumni to support the college in their new home, and it is exciting to think that the Class of 2004 will be able to physically leave our mark here for generations of Buckeye physicians to come.

Sincerely,

Your 2004 Class Reunion Chair
