Over 18 years ago, Jodi and I held a Halloween party for fun. The following year we turned it into a charity event to help a friend. Over the years, we have decided to call it “Friends helping Friends” because that is what friends do when you need help. We started our charity event to help raise money to support ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy), Diabetes and Cancer Research. Over the years, several family members, friends and colleagues have battled and fought a variety of different diseases. Unfortunately, we have lost several family members, friends and colleagues way too early.

With the help of many people, we have raised and donated over $225,000. We all know someone who is fighting the fight or has been directly impacted with some form of disease. It will continue to take an army to win these battles, and we could not have done what we have done without the help and support of our family, friends and colleagues.

There are so many great causes out there and thank you for what you do to make a difference. The medical advancement over the years is because of the generosity of everyone who gives and helps with the different causes. We will continue to do our part until we find cures and help people live a better life.

Our Halloween event has no expenses! Everything is donated and 100% of the dollars raised go to charity. This year we are asking for donations to be made to The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) in honor of the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer. Since moving back to Ohio, Jodi and I have had the great pleasure and honor to meet and work with a lot of new friends involved with the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer.

Your support and generosity are greatly appreciated. We cannot thank each of you enough for making this a successful event.

“Friends helping Friends.”
