Join me in supporting the Student-Alumni Council.

Hello! My name is Abby Spangenberg, and I am a fourth year from Sunbury, Ohio studying chemical engineering. As a freshman coming into Ohio State, I didn't think that I would be able to get very involved and actually feel like I am making an impact at such a large University. However, Student-Alumni Council (SAC) has opened more doors than I ever thought possible.

As an organization, Student-Alumni Council’s mission is to connect Buckeyes — past, present and future. Whether this means welcoming members of the Ohio State community back home during Homecoming Week, or feeling the comradery as we come together to beat That Team Up North at Rivalry Rally; we find ways to focus on the spirit and tradition of Ohio State.

As an individual, I have been able to experience the immense opportunities created through SAC. This organization has shown me that because Ohio State is a large school, it creates large opportunities, experiences and networks. Yet simultaneously, it has given me a small community that makes campus feel like my small hometown. Not only does SAC create this atmosphere for its members, but it creates a foundation of spirit and tradition that allows all students to build their Ohio State story upon.

Feel free to check out more of SAC's work at OhioStateSAC.com. Please help me support an organization that is dedicated to enhancing the college experience, and defining what it means to be a Buckeye for life.
