Thank you for joining us at the 2024 Harvest of Hope, a gala supporting The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).
Proceeds from this event will benefit Ohio State’s Department of Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics (MMT), which the College of Medicine established in 2023 as a basic biomedical science department featuring multidisciplinary research that leads to innovative treatments for cancer and other diseases. The department is led by Professor and Chair Matthew Ringel, MD, who also serves as deputy director for basic research and co-leader of the Cancer Biology Program at the OSUCCC – James.
Research in this Department is helping our scientists and physicians more fully understand both normal and abnormal conditions so they can devise better ways to diagnose, treat and prevent cancer for the benefit of all patients and families who seek our science-based and compassionate cancer care. By linking scientists to physicians, the Department is bridging knowledge gaps and taking breakthrough discoveries to the bedside through clinical trials.
