Ohio State Newark's Student Food Pantry opened in 2017 as a direct response to the increasing need among our community of students. Because of inflation and the
rising costs of groceries and living expenses, many students are finding themselves choosing between paying for food and paying for their education.
Donations to this fund help students experiencing food insecurity return their focus to their education and ultimately complete their pursuit of a college degree.
Because of Ohio State Newark's partnership with the Food Pantry Network of Licking County, every $1 donated turns into $11 worth of groceries for students experiencing food insecurity.
