Team COOP for The James
If you are someone who has not been directly affected by cancer, or know someone close to you who has, consider yourself extremely fortunate.
Terrence Robert Cooper, age 31, of Overlook Dr., Waverly, died 12:25 P.M. Thursday October 11th, 2012, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Sound familiar? A sentence like this is one that surely accompanies grief, pain, horror, despair, right? But what if you had the chance to save a life while remembering who we lost? To make a difference for those currently fighting. That is our mission.
We are a team brought together with the goal of funding a new cancer trail study each year in memory of Terry Cooper. His fight may have ended, but for us, we will carry his strength forward, honoring his legacy of serving our community-a warrior who put his life on the line to protect others. Through our commitment, we strive to advance research, provide hope for patients and families, and ensure that his courage continues to inspire every step we take.
Please consider donating to our cancer fundraiser. 100% of all profits will be given to The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, Melanoma Cancer Research. Together, we can make a difference in the fight to cure cancer!
