- There are 22 book clubs in Franklin County, Ohio.
- Clubs meet weekly for one hour in bookstores, libraries and cafés to socialize and read a book together. .
- On average, NCBC serves 120+ people per year with the help of 30+ volunteers.
- NCBC members choose the books they read, including everything from The Boxcar Children to The Hunger Games.
- Volunteer Facilitators help guide meetings and provide support as needed.
NCBC meetings provide consistent, supported opportunities for adults with IDD to read and learn, build social skills and a sense of belonging and be included in their communities.
