Ohio State University Competitive Cheer

The Ohio State University Competitive Cheer Team is a dedicated and competitive team that represents Ohio State. Our team diligently practices throughout the fall and spring semesters, focusing on enhancing our tumbling and stunting skills. While we participate in various performances and competitions throughout the season, our ultimate goal is to excel at Nationals. NCA College Nationals, held annually in Daytona, Florida, brings together college teams from across the nation, all competing for the title of National Champion. In April, our team will make the journey to Daytona, once again, to showcase our skills and compete on the national stage. 

This past season we made history by bringing two teams to Daytona! We brought not only our traditional team, but we entered a brand new division, Spirit Rally! This was a monumental step in our program! Not only did our Spirit Rally team pioneer the way for Ohio State Competitive Cheer, but they killed it with a Top 5 placement! With the great success of our program we now have our largest team ever with 48 athletes and 4 coaches! This expansion to our program has also come with many expenses. 

We welcomed 18 rookies this year, causing us to well exceed any number of athletes we have previously had in our program. As we navigate the expenses and logistics for our large program this season, we are reaching out for your support to help us raise the necessary funds for our program. Throughout a normal season, we incur numerous expenses that would be impossible to cover without the generosity of our supporters. Being a self-funded team, we heavily rely on fundraising efforts and the kindness of donors like you to make our growing aspirations a reality. 

Your generous donations will contribute to various aspects of our team, including practice wear, competition uniforms, bows, music fees, NCA camp, choreography costs, competition registrations, Nationals expenses, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, shuttle rentals, groceries during our time in Florida and even our end-of-season banquet.
