Advancing Human Health Through Engineering—Join the Journey
Why We're Raising Funds
In September, we celebrated a major milestone: 20 years since Biomedical Engineering became a department at The Ohio State University. This momentous occasion brought together alumni, faculty, students, and friends to reflect on our journey—from our beginnings as a research center in 1971 to becoming a thriving department in the College of Engineering in 2005.
Over the years, we've seen exponential growth in our undergraduate and graduate programs, research funding, faculty, and facilities. Our move to Fontana Labs on main campus has positioned us to lead in interdisciplinary innovation and education.
Now, we’re looking ahead.
Your Gift Will Help Us:
- Support the Biomedical Engineering classroom and grow our alumni-student mentorship program, connecting generations of Buckeye engineers (BME Priority Fund 306379).
- Empower the next generation of biomedical innovators by bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world experiences (BMES Student Conference Award Fund 315144 OR Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association 316713)
- Enhance opportunities for undergraduates and graduate students working on life-changing technologies (Medical Product Development Fund 316735).
Join Us in Shaping the Future
