Master teacher Dr. Rodica C. Botoman founded Romanian Studies at The Ohio State University. She went on to write Discover Romanian, the textbook still used worldwide today. In her 27 years at Ohio State, Dr. Botoman taught thousands of students and mentored current Romanian faculty. The Rodica C. Botoman fund is established in celebration of her ongoing dedication to Romanian Studies at Ohio State. She still mentors and supports the OSU Romanian program today.

In partnership with the Office of Distance Learning, we are delighted to offer free attendance at an online Romanian language class for anyone who makes a gift over $500. Of your total gift, $250 represents the fair market value of benefits received and is not tax-deductible. The remaining balance of the gift is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
