Buckeyes Lead the Way — Support ROTC Scholarships

As we honor this historic moment, we invite you to invest in the next generation of military leaders by supporting Ohio State ROTC student scholarships. The first 250 donors will receive the Ohio State Commemorative Challenge Coin.

This campaign brings together Air Force, Army and Navy/Marine ROTC alumni societies to support cadets and midshipmen pursuing lives of service and leadership. The campaign is chaired by Lt Col, Tom Calhoun and is dedicated to strengthening scholarship support across all ROTC programs, with a collective goal of raising $250,000 across all units.

“It is an honor to be this year’s Chair for the ROTC Scholarships fundraising campaign. Preparing our future leaders in this ever-changing warfare environment and advancing technologies is essential. Financially assisting the cadets will allow them more time to concentrate on their commitments in obtaining their degree and their development as an officer. Thank you in advance!”

— Lt Col, Tom Calhoun, Campaign Chair

“Scholarships for Ohio State ROTC cadets and midshipmen are far more than financial support — they are a powerful investment in the next generation of leaders who will serve our nation with honor. By easing the cost of attendance, these gifts allow ROTC students to fully engage in their academic pursuits, leadership development and military training. For our alumni, this is a meaningful way to carry forward the Buckeye legacy of service. For our corporate partners, it represents a commitment to developing disciplined, resilient leaders prepared for complex challenges. And for those who have worn the uniform, it is an opportunity to give back and strengthen the future of our force. Every contribution helps cultivate principled leaders who will carry the values of Ohio State and the Buckeye community into service around the world.”

— Kevin Cullen, Assistant Vice Provost/Director Military and Veterans Services, EdD, Colonel, USAF Retired
