We are a dedicated group of undergraduate students who compete in mock trial competitions, where we simulate real legal cases and are evaluated by judges and attorneys. Through this program, we build confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and gain real-world skills that prepare us for careers in law, business, public service, and beyond.
   

But competing comes at a cost.
   
Each season, our team travels to multiple tournaments, often across state lines. Expenses include: tournament registration fees, travel and transportation, hotel accommodations, and case materials and team resources.
   
These costs can quickly add up, and we are committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of financial background, has the chance to participate.

1. Safe and Reliable Accommodations: Tournament weekends often require overnight stays. Funding allows us to book safer, more comfortable hotels that support team well-being and proper rest, so we can perform at our best in competition
2. Transportation & Rising Fuel Cost: Most of our tournaments require long-distance travel by car. Gas prices can vary widely throughout the season, making travel costs unpredictable. Your support helps us absorb these fluctuations and ensures we can reliably get to every competition.
3. Rental Vehicles When Needed: When personal vehicles aren’t available or practical, especially for larger groups or longer trips, we rely on rental vehicles. Funding helps cover these costs so that all team members can travel together safely and efficiently.
4. Tournament Registration Fees: Each competition charges entry fees that are required for participation. These fees add up quickly across multiple tournaments, and your support ensures we can continue competing throughout the season.
5. Case Materials & Team Resources: Success in mock trial depends on preparation. Funds go toward printing case packets, purchasing legal resources, and providing materials that help us practice effectively and refine our performances.
