Help Create New Buckeyes – Support Our 2026 Fundraising Campaign!

The Alumni Club of Brazil is launching its third fundraising campaign to support those interested in joining The Ohio State University — and we need your help!

Goal: USD 3,500 by July 12th for opportunities like:

 Application Fees – $70

 Summer Explorations – $550

Neuroscience Summer Camp – $750

MD Camp – $325

Nursing Clinical Research Camp – $50

 Soccer Summer Elite Camp – $475

 Ohio International Intern Program (TOP) in agriculture – $595

 Foundations of U.S. Law and Practice – $1,000

Why Give?

Since 2020, our Club has led 25+ initiatives, grown to 110+ participants. In 2024, we exceeded our first campaign goal — raising $2,901 and supporting 7 students (see report). In 2025, we exceeded our goal raising $3,156 and we are in the process of supporting 8 students.

This year, we aim even higher — with your help.

How It Works

- The Ohio State Brazil Gateway will manage the funds in its U.S. based account. Once students are admitted to the eligible programs above, scholarships are paid directly to Ohio State colleges/units. Funds will be distributed by May 2027; any remaining balance rolls over. 

- Any person interested in Ohio State and the programs mentioned above can apply to the scholarship this fund will provide! All nationalities and citizenships will be eligible for awards from this fund. Applications will be reviewed by Ohio State staff from Global Gateways and from the programs mentioned. All those interested should send an email to brazilgateway@osu.edu replying to the following questions: 1) Can you give a brief summary of your academic/professional steps so far and how Ohio State/selected program connects to your future goals? 2) Why do you think you should get an Alumni Club of Brazil scholarship?
