Homecoming 2026: Neil Hariths

$125 raised for BuckeyeThon Fund for Pediatric Cancer

Homecoming 2026: Neil Hariths

I fundraise for BuckeyeThon because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow up, chase their dreams, and become a Buckeye. No child or family should have to face a cancer or blood disorder diagnosis alone, and through BuckeyeThon, I have seen firsthand what can happen when community comes together around a shared mission. Every dollar raised for BuckeyeThon is donated to the Hematology, Oncology & Blood and Marrow Transplant unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which helps fund vital care and research, such as clinical trials and psychosocial therapies.

Over the past several years, BuckeyeThon has become the most meaningful part of my time at Ohio State. I've had the privilege of meeting our Champion Families and members of our organization, hearing their stories, listening to their perspectives, and seeing the strength, joy, and passion they bring to our communities. Behind every yearly fundraising total are families, children, and futures, which is why it is so important to keep pushing toward a world where everyone has the chance to grow up healthy.

This year, as the President of BuckeyeThon, I am especially grateful to spend my final year at Ohio State helping lead a community that has spent 25 years fighting for this cause. I fundraise because I know that none of us can accomplish this mission alone, but together, every donation, every team member, and every person who chooses to care can make a difference. I hope you'll join me in supporting the kids and families at Nationwide Children's Hospital and helping us continue to make miracles for the kids!
