Homecoming 2026: Harsha Sanaka

Since 2023, I have been a part of Pass the Class, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by OSU students in 2017 to provide academic empowerment and professional readiness services to Columbus youth experiencing homelessness. Since its inception, Pass the Class has transformed tremendously, now expanding to launch tutoring programs at several Columbus elementary and middle schools. Nevertheless, our underlying mission has remained constant: to empower youth through education. Through this work, I have seen students’ confidence grow and mindsets shift through milestones like completing a math worksheet independently or reading a book chapter without assistance. When you support the Gladys Foster Anderson Early Literacy Fund, you help give children access to the educational resources and opportunities that can spark that same sense of confidence early in life.
