I lost my son Uche Ezirim last July. Some of you may have seen that news on social media platforms. A special thank you to all of you that reached out to our family since then. Uche lived a meaningful life filled with love for family and community. Many of the stories I have shared with you of his younger siblings were only possible because of his immense personal support. He was committed to our family success and we miss him terribly.

In lieu of flowers, questions and other commentaries, the family welcomes donations in his memory to the Just Us Legacy Group Scholarship Fund at the Ohio State College of Pharmacy.

This fund provides one or more scholarships for PharmD students who are enrolled in the College of Pharmacy and demonstrate financial need. Special consideration will be given to students who wish to ensure access to medical care for all.

My family and I thank you all for your support, love, understanding and unwavering friendship.
